After studying for a career in the arts, I transitioned into technology in 1990 and created my first website in 1995, the year the last restrictions were removed for commercial use of the internet. I worked as a web developer and systems professional in California statewide data centers, doing graphic and technical web design, application development, web server maintenance, structured testing and quality assurance. I trained staff, led strategy meetings, advised and monitored consultants on multimillion dollar statewide web projects. During those years, I was recognized by Governor Gray Davis for designing California's first live webcast (2000) and others that followed. I completed a project management certificate program at the UC Davis Extension (2002), won a writing scholarship at CSU Sacramento (2004), and finished a BA in Studio Art, minor in Psychology (2006).
In private business, I'm devoted to using my experience to make good people more authentically visible and accessible on the web, to help them succeed at whatever they do. I've served on nonprofit boards and as an entrepreneur myself, I understand the challenges of nonprofits and small businesses. My communication esthetic — optimizing the union of art, marketing and technology — drives the work of Clarity Web Studio.

Monica has an AA in Fine Arts and Photography from Santa Rosa Junior College and a BA in Conceptual and Information Design from San Francisco State University. She spent three years as graphic designer for Marcel Schurman (Papyrus in San Francisco and three years as senior graphic designer for Dauphine Press in Petaluma, and recently worked as packaging designer for Restoration Hardware in Santa Rosa, where you may have seen her beautiful toy packaging design work. Monica has a well-thought-through process for creating authentic branding and identity for businesses to visually communicate their uniqueness.
Victoria's education includes a BA in Psychology and an MA in English. For many years, she taught at San Francisco State University developing department-wide curricula for first- and second-year composition courses, providing writing teachers with course materials, outlines, objectives, and day-by-day lesson plans, as well as supervising teachers and teaching interns. Victoria edits marketing copy, bulletins, newsletters and educational texts for private-sector and nonprofit organizations. She is a member of the American Copy Editors Society and the National Association of Independent Writers and Editors.
Casey is an author, speaker and recognized expert at writing highly-effective sales copy for a wide range of industry-leading companies. He is author of the book Essential Sales Writing Secrets and author of the Ultimate Sales Writing e-book series. In addition, he contributed a chapter on persuasive sales writing that is featured in the book Advice From The Top: The Expert Guide to B2B Marketing. Casey works with clients to develop dynamic, in-depth product messaging. He has BA in Communications from Loyola Marymount University.
Chris and Jared have been creating video solutions at their premier Sonoma County video service company since 1989. Some of their clients include Medtronic, Agilent Technologies, The YWCA of Sonoma County, Blood Bank of the Redwoods, and Safari Books Online. Jared has a BA in Film Theory from Sonoma State University and has been producing professional videos since 2004.
After studying Moving Image Arts and graduating with a BA from the College of Santa Fe, Ted worked for ten years as a news photographer and editor at KFTY in Santa Rosa and KSBW (NBC) on the central coast. He also produced, shot and edited TV commercials, corporate and instructional videos, weddings, and various other projects. He then moved to Los Angeles and worked at Deutsch, a multimedia marketing ad agency, where he crafted his marketing and video production skills. Ted has returned to Northern California as a seasoned video specialist who looks forward to using his video creativity to benefit local organizations and businesses.
