Linda established Clarity Web Studio during a 13-year stint in statewide data centers, where she was the only female in that high tech environment with such a broad range of skills. She did it all: graphic and technical web design, developed applications, maintained web servers, wrote and proofed volumes of system documentation, did structured application testing, trained staff, strategized, advised and monitored consultants on multimillion dollar statewide web projects, and was a resource for usability, accessibility, and user-centered design.
Linda began designing web sites in 1995, created Clarity Web Studio in 1999, and has been helping nonprofit and business clients succeed with inbound marketing ever since. She was recognized by Governor Gray Davis for designing California's first live webcast (2000) and others that followed. She won a writing scholarship at CSU Sacramento (2004), has a B.A. in Studio Art, minor in Psychology (2006), and comes from a family of artists. The business was eventually incorporated as Art For Life, Inc. (2009). Linda has served on nonprofit boards and as an entrepreneur herself, understands the challenges of nonprofits and small businesses. Her communication esthetic drives the work of Clarity
Web Studio.
